Outdoor Catering Trailer T- Boned by Lorry
"My brother-in-law Norman was waiting to make a right turn into a lay-by, he had stopped as two cars were coming in the other direction. The traffic behind him had all stopped and once the cars in the opposite direction had passed he moved to cross the road. He was nearly into the lay-by when an articulate overtook the row of cars behind him and ploughed straight through his catering trailer demolishing it completely. The lorry driver was charged at the scene with careless driving and it really is amazing that nobody was hurt!
We are in the process of buying a horse box and this type of thing is really worrying because sometimes people don't realize you are towing and your signs are simple but hopefully effective."
